Anwender der Joomla Kontact-Erweiterung "aiContactSafe" können sich über eine neue, heute veröffentlichte Version 2.0.8 ihrer Komponente freuen. Seit unseren letzten Artikel im Dezember (v 2.0.6b) hat sich bei diesem Projekt viel getan, und wir wollen euch hier an dieser Stelle einen kleinen Überblick darüber geben. Neu ist zum Beispiel die verbesserte Kompatibilität mit älteren Browsern, die auch einen behobenen Fehler beim Internet Explorer beinhaltet (Javascript-Aufruf zur Ladezeit). Ebenfalls überarbeitet zeigt sich die Funktion zur Einbindung von Dateianhängen, die ihre Dateien nun in das Media-Verzeichnis speichert, um einen möglichen Datenverlust bei Updates entgegen zu wirken. Dort finden sich nun übrigens auch die (Mail) Templates und CSS-Dateien für die Profile. Ebenfalls neu ist die Option Anweisungen für Suchmaschinen als Meta in den Profilen zu speichern, den "Send-Button" als reinen Text anzeigen zu lassen, sowie einige zusätzliche Möglichkeiten bei der Platzierung der Felder, sowie deren zur Verfügung stehenden Parametern. Als besonders interessant erscheint außerdem die Option Datei-Anhänge nicht dauerhaft zu speichern, sondern direkt nach Versand der entsprechenden E-Mail - und dort selbstverständlich als Anhang - wieder aus dem Verzeichnis zu löschen. Das könnte für all jene Joomla Projekte von Interesse sein die häufig Einsendungen von Besuchern erhalten, aber selten dazu kommen für Ordnung auf dem Webspace zu sorgen.

Zu beachten gilt es allerdings, dass das ehemals separat erhältliche Module und Plugin so in dieser Form nicht mehr ausgeliefert werden. Die Bestandteile "aiContactSafeModule", "aiContactSafeForm" und "aiContactSafeLink" können nun direkt über die Oberfläche der Komponente nachinstalliert werden, ein entsprechender Punkt findet sich im Kontrollzentrum ganz unten auf der Seite. Das Paket mit der aktuellen Version findet ihr selbstverständlich auch in unseren Downloads.
